Something about me (and you)

Gen Kanai has handed me the musical baton.

Total volume of music files on my computer:

I use iTunes to manage our music library which is 10,204 songs, ~80GB or 29.8 days of music. The library is stored on a firewire 800 disk array that is hooked up to an Apple XServe cluster node in my basement. All the files are MP3s ripped from CDs.

Last CD I bought:

Nyla buys most of the music these days but the last CD that I bought was probably Eric Clapton’s The Blues or A Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Song playing right now:

I Know I know I know by Tegan and Sara

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

  1. Little Wing by Santana
  2. One by U2
  3. Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival
  4. When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin
  5. Motherless Child by Eric Clapton

Three people to whom I’m passing the baton:

Nyla
David
Michael
