Whole House Video with the TivoDecode Manager

Engadget blogs about the The poor (Mac) man’s TiVoToGo for the Macintosh.

This Macintosh application lets you pull content off of your tivo boxes and play it on a Mac without any of Tivo’s Digital Rights Management (DRM) software.

This little application would essentially allow me to have whole house video in any room of the house where there is a Mac.

I’ve been thinking about replacing the TV in my kitchen with with a networked iMac for a while now and this might push me over the edge.

The only problem is that I ditched by Tivo Series 1 box for Comcast’s HD-DVR…………..! Doh.
