MusicMobs Shuts Down
Om blogs that MusicMobs has shut down.
This is a bitter sweet one for me as MusicMobs started around the same time as we started Upto11. The sad thing here and for the entire music recommendation category in general is that it is very hard (if not impossible) to find a sustainable business model that doesn’t somehow involve violating the copyright law.
I wish Toby (founder of MusicMobs) well as he joins last.fm who arguably is the only site in the category to have sorted something out financially (although I personally haven’t used it in a long while….).
